The Goulds 1DV series and 2DV Series Sewage Pumps are versatile vortex sewage pumps that can be used in either simplex or duplex installations located in small lift stations, drainage systems or general "raw water" applications (natural water in the environment that has not been treated). These pumps can be used in a wide variety of heavy use applications, such as homes, farms, motels, schools, and hospitals. 1DV and 2DV Series can also serve well as part of a municipal package system and in industrial level treatment systems.

Because of potential heavy use and exposure to harsh environments, these pumps place a premium on tough, well-designed construction. The volute for each Sewage Pump is a corrosion resistant, long lasting AISI 304 stainless steel. The impeller is made of the same and is of a vortex design to better handle waste solids.
